The WP7015 is USB Type-C controller for Travel Adaptors secondary side with, PD 3.0 (PPS), SR (Synchronous Rectifier), 8-bit MCU with 16KB FLASH, CV, CC, VCC bleeder, VBUS discharger, NMOS load switch driver, ADC and protection. 

The embedded MCU and integrated function blocks provide highly flexible and cost-effective solution to many applications. Microcontroller helps to implement propriety charging protocol via USB by using comparator & 10-bit DAC for the custom charging protocol. NMOS load switch has soft start function with dedicated PWM. 

WP7015 also automatically detects whether a connected powered device before enabling output voltage current adjustment. 

If power devices are not complaint to high voltage, high current protocols, WP7015 will disable output voltage. When CC1 orCC2 are attached, and dragged to low. Output is presented to be 5V, and to check the QC2.0/QC3.0 to confirm to QC compatible output for devices.
